Founded in 1824, The Macallan is one of the largest whiskey producers in Scotland, and is regarded for their high quality and sought after single malts. The Macallan moved into a new $180 million distilling facility in 2018 that weaves together aesthetic appeal, the distilleries values, and sustainability. Access to the estate is controlled by prior booking only, and reservations for The Macallan Distillery, Elchies Brasserie, The Macallan Boutique or The Macallan Bar, must be done at least 24 hrs in advance through the distillery’s website. The Macallan Distillery is not suitable for children.
