Traverse City Whiskey Company

Traverse City Whiskey Co. is located in Traverse City Michigan, a popular tourist destination on the southern tip of Grand Traverse Bay known for its world famous cherries, vineyards, and summer fun on the shores of Lake Michigan, and has been a mainstay of whiskey production in Northern Michigan since opening in 2015. Founded by friends Chris Fredrickson, Jared Rapp, and Moti Goldring, the distillery was originally sourcing whiskey from MGP, but is now aging and bottling their own stock. The distillery has a wide range of traditional and unique flavored whiskies that play on Michigan’s agricultural roots. Among their signature whiskies are a Straight Bourbon, North Coast Rye, and American Cherry. Traverse City Whiskey Co. also offers a Barrel Proof Cherry, Barrel Proof Wheat, Barrel Proof Rye, Barrel Proof Bourbon in addition to Port, Cabernet Franc, and Sherry barrel finished whiskey. The Stillhouse and distillery HQS are located in downtown Traverse City, but Traverse City Whiskey Co. recently opened an outpost in suburban Detroit (literally called The Outpost), in Ferndale, MI. Both offer limited edition samplings and are open year round. Private events and cocktail classes are offered in both locations.
